WOOD CUTS
Wood cuts as opposed to wood engravings, use the side grain of the wood. This means I can produce larger prints with sometimes the texture or figure of the wood showing in the final print. It does not produce such a fine line as the engraving, but it is an ideal medium for colour using as many as five blocks to achieve
the desired effect.
